Shifting Sands of Support, Which Way Will Malays Sway Come Election Day?

Merdeka Centre founder Ibrahim Suffian describes the wider scatter of the Malay votes between BN, Pas and Pakatan Harapan as not quite epochal to the outcome of GE14. He interprets data on polls carried out on the intentions of Malay voters with AWANI Review’s Ibrahim Sani.

“Pakatan Harapan has managed to rally the Malay support following Nomination Day,” says Ibrahim Suffian, founder of the polling firm Merdeka Center. “This support is now at the expense of PAS and to some extent, Barisan Nasional as well,” he adds.
