Nestle CEO: Banking on E-Commerce

Malaysia's largest food and beverage company Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd is looking towards the online shopping business to grow its revenue stream.

THE target? To hit half a billion ringgit sales revenue through e-commerce in the next few years.

In over ten months, it has achieved 10 per cent of that sales target since venturing into the online shopping business through partnership with 11 Street and Lazada in October 2016.

Despite elevated commodity and consumer prices, CEO Alois Hofbauer is optimistic about the Malaysian growth story.

He tells AWANI's Market Talk how the consumer group plans to keep the lid on product prices
