It has a modern and pleasant decor perfect for a holiday home where you live inside and out. The house has solar panels, a rainwater harvesting system, bathrooms are single-use plastic-free and even cling film is biodegradable.

The decor consists of Australian artwork, oversized linen sofas, designer wallpaper and an architecturally designed space. Double-height ceilings at the entrance draw warm air up and into the windows. For those who don’t like surfing or aren’t really into catching waves (like me!), you can go hiking, swimming, kayaking or fishing in national parks. But of course swimming in the crystal clear waters of Jervis Bay on New South Wales’ south coast, a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Sydney.
