Amazon announced on Friday, May 14 that it will create 10,000 jobs in the United Kingdom by 2021, especially thanks to the opening of four new distribution centers and a parcel reception center. The e-commerce company said in a statement that it will increase its workforce to 55,000 in the country by the end of this year.

These new jobs will be created in the back office, Amazon Web Services data centers and distribution. Many large British cities, including London, Manchester and Edinburgh, will be hiring, for example, for digital marketing, software or artificial intelligence.
