As part of the Science Festival and with the aim of enriching the Atlas of Municipal Biodiversity, the Fungi Society of Limousin will intervene, tomorrow, Friday, for the picking and Saturday for the mushroom fair in the Strip.
Autumn gives way to long walks in the forest and why not pick mushrooms. You still need to know them!
As part of the Fête de la science, the municipality with the assistance of the Mycological Society of Limousin is organizing an exhibition of mushrooms at the Church of the Savior inside the Micro-Folie Museum on La Souterraine, rue de Lavaud, Saturday 8 October from 2 pm to 5:30 pm.
Friday, October 7, outings intended for schoolchildren, their teachers and members of the Limousine Mycosis Association will allow assembly for the exhibition and knowledge transfer.
Members of the Société mycologique du Limousin will identify the species and help set up the exhibition on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
These activities, which are carried out as part of the Fête de la science, will allow to enrich the atlas of local biodiversity of La Souterraine and will certainly be a good opportunity to learn to better know and appreciate mushrooms in our region.
