After three seasons: TVA spins off the talk show “La Tour” hosted by Gildor Roy

Gildor Roy will soon not live on “La Tour,” after TVA announced Wednesday the end of the daily talk show after three seasons. The host will therefore leave his residence at the end of the presentation of the final episode, on Thursday, April 27th.

Not only will it be necessary to let go of this appointment full of good humor and good discussions with the host and the actor, who will only be there a year, but the viewers will also have to say goodbye to the neighbors of Gildor, Alexander Barrett and Helen Bourgeois Leclerc. The trio was formed last September to replace Patrick Howard, who helmed the first two seasons of the concept developed by Quebecor Content and produced in association with Trio Orange.

Several programming changes

After last week’s announcement of a morning schedule reshuffle starting next fall, which will lead to the end of Marie-Claude Barrett’s contract, TVA also wants to make changes to its evening programming. We already know that the daily “Indéfendable,” which airs Monday-Thursday at 7 p.m., has been renewed for a second season.
