A student was expelled for an administrative error

A foreign student will have to leave Canada due to an administrative error during the renewal of her student visa, which has been denied to her in recent days, thus leaving her without permission to work and study.

“In pressure, I sent a bad document,” Camille Dantine quipped on the waves of QUB Radio.

When renewing his visa due at the end of August, he was sent a Certificate of Acceptance of Quebec (CAQ) last year instead of this year.

No answer was given to him after he submitted a formal request for reconsideration on the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada website.

The full profile of the graduate with a BA in Visual Arts Education at Concordia University has been supported by her vice riding vice-principal, Alexandre Poliris, as well as by the English language school FACE she has been working at for over a year.

“You never feel good enough to stay here, and it’s morally exhausting,” said the 32-year-old. It represents my whole life falling apart. If she returns to France, she will not be able to work in schools because it is only a diploma recognized in Quebec.

If the federal government refuses to reconsider, she will have to apply for a visa for the next hearing. However, she will not be allowed to work in Canada once she has completed her studies because the study break for international students is considered a crime.

The young student tells her narrow throat that she is hoping for a miracle. “I hope you will apply pressure from the province to the federal government as much as possible to get this student visa.”
