Sasha J. Blondeau He is a composer of mixed contemporary, instrumental, and electro-acoustic music. I hold a PhD in Music Composition from Ircam and am interested in the interaction between machine writing and electronic writing within the same space of expression. Questions of hybridity, deidentification and “other spaces”, in the Foucauldian sense of the term, are at the heart of his work.

Graduated in 2012 from CNSM in Lyon, he was invited to the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris twice, residing and then residing at Villa Médicis. They receive commissions from the Philharmonie de Paris, SWR Donaueschinger Musiktage, Ensemble Intercontemporain, Radio France, Ircam, Festival Musica, Festival Messiaen and Percussions de Strasbourg. for their project
