Trevor Zegras scores another amazing goal

1. Trevor Zygras does it again

Since joining the league in 2021, Trevor Zygras hasn’t stopped hitting exciting goals. Whether it’s his passes from Michigan or his passes from behind the net, the American is perhaps the most exciting player on the Pittman circuit.

Yesterday he added another great streak to his portfolio by scoring between his legs against Team Kraken.

Unfortunately, the Ducks lost 5-2 and are one of the worst teams in the league, but at least Anaheim fans have something to cheer about.

Note that in the win, Jared McCann became the first player in Kraken history to score 100 points in a single season.

2. Tyler Toffoli continues his work

The former CH winger is currently having his best career season. With the disappointing campaigns of Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazim Qadri, he’s the true leader of the flames.

He notably scored Calgary’s winning goal on Monday.

Once again, he played the hero yesterday. In a very defensive game against the Wild, he scored the winning penalty shootout goal.

And note, in the victory, Jacob Markstrom stopped 40 shots to get his first shutout of the year.

3. Eric Carlson is still down

A few weeks ago, the former glory of the Senators had given a very dry answer and left a press conference with francophone journalists, disrespecting them.

Yesterday it didn’t go well for his team and again Carlson’s reaction was very disappointing. The Avalanche outrageously dominated the Sharks and led 6-0 after 40 minutes.

On third down, Carlson received a stick in the face. Perhaps Alex Newhawk should have been penalized in the sequence, but the judges thought otherwise. Frustrated, the 65th player threw his helmet on the ice and was kicked out of the game…

4. Tony DiAngelo, Not Strong…

It’s nothing new, Flyers defenseman might have the worst reputation in the NHL. It sure didn’t help his cause yesterday by hitting Corey Perry between the legs with a stick.

Then the Lightning players decided to attack the cannons simultaneously.

5. 29th place for Auston Matthews

Two of the best teams in the East, the Devils and the Leafs, faced off yesterday. New Jersey took a 3-2 lead, but Toronto was able to come back.
