British actor Robbie Coltrane has died at the age of 72, his agent announced, Friday.

The most famous role of the actor is certainly his character half-giant Hagrid in eight films from the “Harry Potter” series.

Everyone also remembers his famous line “You are a wizard, Harry”, which he threw at young Harry Potter at the beginning of the first movie released in 2001.
Eddie “Fitz” Fitzgerald’s character in the British detective series Cracker (“Fitz” in Quebec) won three Best Actor Awards at the prestigious British Academy Awards (BAFTA).
Robbie Coltrane played Russian gangster and former KGB agent Valentin Zhukovsky in two James Bond films, “Golden Eye” in 1995 and “The World Is Not Enough” in 1999.
His role as Danny McGlone in the British series Tutti Frutti earned him a Robbie Coltrane nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
