114 million Switches sold, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe still dominates Nintendo sales

Nintendo has given an update for the fiscal year And during this, the company has unveiled some positive news…and another just below that.

In the good news section, in its predictions, Nintendo shows that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continues to get excited. This is the game that is dominating sales right now, with an amount that will soon reach $50 million ($48.41 million)

At the back are Animal Crossing New Horizons ($40.17 million) and Super Smash Bros Ultimate ($29.53 million).

You still have to consider that for Mario Kart, Nintendo is blowing coals to maintain its interest in the franchise, with new tracks arriving gradually over the months.

However, regarding the sale of Nintendo Switch consoles, the company has decided to lower its sales forecast by March 2023, from 21 million units to 19 million units.

Although there is a gradual improvement in the supply of semiconductors and other components and a trend toward resuming hardware manufacturing for the Nintendo Switch, considering production and sales performance to date, we have changed our hardware unit sales forecast for the Nintendo Switch for the fiscal year.

Nintendo still expects to be able to deliver merchandise for this crucial holiday season.

With that said, with 114 million consoles sold to date, the Switch has been a huge success!
